Healthy Mexican Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate is very warming, with a hint of spices and chili. To add a healthier touch, add almond milk and maple syrup to sweeten.

Serves 1 large mug or two small cups | Cook time: 10 minutes

What You Need

Traditional Milkpan

Ingredients

  • 400ml Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Heaped Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch Chili Powder
  • Pinch salt

Cookware Used

Chasseur Round Milk Pan (14cm/0.8L) Tablespoon A cup

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a milk pan and whisk until incorporated. Bring slowly up to a low boil and take off the heat. Taste for sweetness desired and add more if required. Serve.
