The Le Creuset Signature French Oven Review

Le Creuset Signature French Oven

It’s freezing outside; I’ve just come into our warm home to thaw out. Additionally, soup is now on the menu to assist in this process, and therefore my homely Le Creuset Round French Oven 24cm is called upon! Truly, don’t you just feel warm, cozy inside just to see a Le Creuset Round French Oven, let only, cook with it! It speaks hearty comfort food to me. I use my Le Creuset French Oven for everything from stewing casseroles, curries, baking sourdough bread, and cooking soups. It is so versatile and handy this cold time of the year. This evening, as mentioned, I’m employing my Le Creuset to make one of my favourite soups; Jerusalem Artichoke with Bacon Crisps & Croutons. It has additional ingredients such as potato & leek with chicken stock, however, the hero is by far the Jerusalem artichoke! I fell in love with this root vegetable at a Kitchen Garden Workshop at Glenmore House, Camden. The owner and workshop facilitator, Mickey Robertson, added roasted Jerusalem artichokes to the salad we ate at lunch and I was in tastebud heaven. Back to my Le Creuset; a very important family kitchen member in our household, especially in winter.

This cast iron cookware is perfect for stewing, roasting, searing and braising. There have been some fantastic updates to the Le Creuset French Ovens over time;
  • Improved enamel coating that is more durable, stain resistant and easier to clean.
  • Easy grip, 45% larger handles for easy hob to oven to table transfer.
  • Tighter fitting lid with built-in stabilisers to prevent wobbling during cooking, sealing in heat, moisture and flavour. The lid design has been improved with enhanced rings and branding alongside a more for an even more attractive finish.
  • Durable stainless-steel knob. The handles and knobs have also been updated with handles that are 45% larger handles, making it far easier to carry from hob or oven to table, even when wearing bulky oven gloves. The standard knob on the lid is also larger and made of stainless steel to be more durable, heat resistant and comfortable to grip.
I particularly like the easier to clean part! Ha! It honestly is easier to clean. It is such a great size too, at 24cm diameter – suitable for a family of 4 to 5! Furthermore, it is freezer safe, oven safe to 250c, and suitable for cooktops, including induction. With all these wonderful features, and its ability to keep you warm in winter; you honestly must have Le Creuset Signature Round French Oven 24cm in your kitchen today.
