The Easiest and Tastiest Pavlova Recipe by RetroKitchen
David Kahn |
With Australia Day around the corner, what better way to celebrate than with a delicious pavlova. While there is plenty of debate around its true origin, one thing is for certain, the pavlova dessert is claimed as an Aussie favourite and once you taste it, especially as the perfect light finish for a heavy barbecue, it's definitely here to stay.
For serving this beautiful yet effortless dessert, RetroKitchen has made the ultimate pavlova plate.
RetroKitchen is an Australian family owned company that designs beautiful homewares reminiscent of the past but with contemporary flair.
With the recipe given to you on a plate - literally, you will always be able to make the perfect pavlova for entertaining. Just make sure you have eggs!
It is 31cm in diameter, which makes it the ideal size for the oven, dishwasher and of course for the mixture itself – not too much and definitely not too little.
Once baked (I kept it over night in the oven to cool down) I generously topped it with whipped cream and berries, just the way it is supposed to be.
Once finished, just pop it into the dishwasher - if by chance you still have a slice left, the plate is also freezer safe so you can keep it in there.
Baking with the RetroKitchen plate makes making pavlova easier than easy. All you need to do is follow the instructions as detailed on the plate and simply use it from oven to table serving.
With its beautiful retro floral pattern for superb presentation, while designed for pavlova, it its great to use with muffins, cakes and more. This plate also comes gift boxed and would be the perfect gift and compliment to match for a friend of family member that has their signature pavlova this Australia Day.
