This red mixing bowl with embossed hearts is as pretty as a picture! I just love the retro feel of this bowl – it brightens my day and makes me want to put on an apron and wear some cherry red lipstick to match it. In an ideal world, I’d have the day to myself to do lots of baking followed by a luxurious bubble bath. Ok, that is never going to happen – but at least using this bowl gives me a warm and happy feeling.
Originating in 1800s England, Mason Cash’s whole line of products all have this funky, vintage-inspired yet timeless look about them. Useful and practical with a wide 28cm rim (the bowl holds a hefty 4L) means easy mixing or kneading of doughs. A mixing bowl like this is so useful to have in the kitchen for any baking /mixing, proving bread dough, marinating meats, holding fruit, large salads or just on display.
Made of smooth ceramic complete in a glossy finish, the bowl easily rinses clean under running water and is also dishwasher (and oven) safe. I find even my doughs are resistant to sticking to the sides of the bowl.
