I am not a huge baker so I have never owned a stand mixer until now. Often at Christmas when I’d be whipping eggs for meringues, I’d dream of owning one but my cake and dessert making has always been limited to birthdays, Christmas and occasional gifts. Those handfuls of times a year didn’t warrant me buying one. Now that my son has started school, I feel that there is bake sale, where we are encouraged to bring baked goods, every second week! That may be a slight exaggeration but I definitely find myself making cakes a lot more. I decided it was about time I got myself a stand mixer and I have to say that I absolutely love the Cuisinart Master Mixer.
I think you would be hard pushed to find a baking project that the
Cuisinart Master Mixer couldn’t tackle head-on. The large 5.5 litre bowl and 500-watt motor really does handle the heaviest of mixing tasks. It has 12 speeds for precision mixing and the tilt back head allows easy access to the mixing bowl.
Now that I have the Cuisinart Mixer I can see me relying on it a lot. The hands free baking allows me to get on with other tasks meaning faster results and less mess. I will be using it for so much more than just baking and I’ve already mashed potatoes with it. Using the paddle on a medium-low speed makes the creamiest of potatoes! I also plan to shred chicken and make pizza dough and I already want to get the meat grinder attachment, which I know I’d use a lot.
There is so much more to this mixer than just cakes, bread and meringues you can even purchase attachments for making ice cream and pasta. Before you buy any further attachments though, there is plenty of enjoyment to be had with the included paddle, whisk and dough hook. The instruction and recipe book has some delicious sounding recipes for you to impress your family and friends with.
Stylish and available in three colours, brushed chrome, red and white, this stunning mixer will look great on any counter top.
