A tasty teaser — the perfect starter dish for cheese lovers!
This Greek recipe is sure to add a burst of flavour to any meal or dish, with the added bonus of being simple and easy to create. Salty feta perfumed with oregano and bursting cherry tomatoes. Enjoy with a vibrant salad and/or crusty bread. We've prepared this in one of our favourite baking dishes from Le Creuset.
Time: 30 minutes | Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 500g mixed cherry tomatoes
- 200g block feta cheese
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200C/180C Fan.
- Place the block of feta in the centre of a baking dish. Place the tomatoes around it. Drizzle with oil, then sprinkle over the oregano. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until feta is brown around the edges.
- Serve with crusty bread.
