The Fun and Functional Holey Spadle by Dreamfarm

The Holey Spadle by Dreamfarm is a really handy and well thought out kitchen tool. With one twist of the handle, it can go from a slotted spoon to a deep pot ladle. The head with it surrounding prongs was especially designed to gather and scoop up peas, corn and other small food particles floating around the pan. These prongs are also perfect for ladling and serving pasta and noodle dishes out of large pots of boiling water.
The handle design cleverly sits the spoon head above the counter top, reducing drips and keeping the food and work space more hygienic. I turned my holey spadle over and rested it on the side of the pan. The head is made of nylon and thus will not damage your non-stick pans.
The Holey Spadle is heat resistant to 205C/400F so is a very useful tool for shallow frying. I found it drained oil from the food very well and the head design made it easy to pick up more pieces at a time. Being heat resistant means that you can simply throw your Holey Spadle into the dishwasher to clean.
Dreamfarm is an Australian company that just loves to fuse two gadgets together to create one really clever piece of kit. A big thumbs up from me – I’m all for reducing the amount of clutter in my kitchen. To view the entire range of innovative and functional kitchen tools by Dreamfarm, click here
