Zeal has created a delightful range of silicone products which reflect nature using vibrant colours and shapes. I particularly loved the pretty packaging, which has been branded and designed in such a way to make you want to touch and use these products. These cute gadgets will not only brighten up your kitchen, they also have clever functions hidden within. Just one look and you'll see how these tools are inspired by nature, with features reminiscent of plants, flowers and even strawberries!
Many products in the Zeal range are fantastic for baking and hard wearing kitchen use. The silicone is 100% EEC approved and heat proof to 252°C. It is odourless and will never absorb smells or colours. I tested out the Crocus Measuring Set, Strawberry Push to Seal Lid and Flower Masher.
The
measuring spoon set looks just like a pretty crocus! I love how it comes with a petal band which keeps it tidy within your drawer. When you need to use it, the band easily comes off and the petals open to show the measuring sets. In the middle, the green ‘stamen’ of the crocus is a 1/8 teaspoon measurement, and the petals make up ½ teaspoon, 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon measurements.
The silicone feels and looks great – so much so, that Baby James enjoyed the Crocus Measuring Set as a fun toy
The Flower Masher features a soft grip handle despite feeling very sturdy to use. The nylon head, in a petal design, is heat resistant and features a multi-teared mashing surface. I found it performed well and created a perfectly smooth mash. The masher was simple to rinse clean under running water.
My favourite product in the Zeal range is the
Strawberry Push to Seal Lid. This is such a useful product with many versatile uses. The lid creates a strong suction when placed on top of a bowl, making it an eco-friendly alternative to cling film. This can be stored in the fridge or heated up in the microwave, and can also be placed directly onto hot pans on the stovetop. The strawberry design gets lots of points in my book for cuteness and kitchen happiness.
The Zeal Reflecting Nature range of kitchen tools are playful and so functional, a great way to brighten up your kitchen and make preparing food easier and fun.
