Making pizza couldn’t be easier. Get the whole family involved... and your
Cuisinart Mixer of course.
This recipe is so easy to follow, you can’t go wrong; and with the mixer handy, you won't break a sweat. Simply attach the dough hook that comes with the mixer and you'll be making the perfect dough in seconds. Not only does using a mixer make it faster to make larger batches of dough, but it also mixes ingredients with far more consistency, producing better results and saving your hands and wrists a lot of work too.
As for the toppings, possibilities are endless!
Fresh Pizza Dough
Ingredients
500g ‘00’ flour
7g yeast
40g basil infused olive oil (or regular)
325g water
Method
Throw all ingredients into the bowl and give it a quick mix.
Using the mixer, knead for about 10-15min until the dough feels elastic.
Oil a bowl and leave the dough to prove until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).
When ready, place dough on a floured surface and split into as many pizzas as you want. You can even freeze the dough for later use.
Roll out dough and place on
MasterCraft Non-Stick Round Pizza Crisper Pan. This pan has perforated holes that ensure that dry heat when baking in the oven passes through underneath, releasing excess moisture and ensuring the crispiest of results. You can also line the pan with Italian polenta to make it even crispier!.
Go crazy with your toppings (or keep it 'Autentico' the Italian way by using only three to four) then place in a preheated oven (210°C) for 10min!
Note: if you’re making one pizza at a time, make sure you cover any dough that’s not being used so it doesn’t dry out.
