The MasterPro Air Flow Non-Stick Roaster Review

Reviewing and Unboxing the MasterPro Air Flow Non-Stick Roaster

“It’s supposed to act like a rotisserie”, Carla (Everten’s Managing Director) explained to me on a message. Ok, this was all I needed to hear. I needed to get my hands on a MasterPro Air Flow Roaster.

When unboxing the product, I can already tell the quality of this cookware. It is made from heavy-duty carbon steel and a double layer of Quantum 2 non-stick coating. Yet it was very light in weight. With it’s raised rack and ventilation holes underneath, meat and vegetables get 360° hot air circulation, creating beautiful and even browning, tenderisation and juicy cooking results every time.

A great feature of this tray is the large groove that runs around the base with a handy pouring spout on one corner. This is to catch all the fat and drips from your roast allowing you to save the juice for perfect gravy. In my roast chicken recipe, I used up every bit of the wonderful pan juices to cook my giant pearl couscous in. This way I don't waste a single drop. For fattier joints such as pork or lamb shoulder, the clear fat will separate from the darker pan juices at the bottom and can easily be poured while it is still hot.

The rack is designed with two handles which allow for easy removal of the roast from the pan. The task becomes so much tidier and is less fiddly. I simply lift the meat, allow it to rest all without using any utensils. This is convenient too because I can handle the pan juices separately.

Why the MasterPro Air Flow non-stick is a practical roaster

1. Cook dishes evenly

I found that the pan is great at cooking dishes evenly. The chicken was golden brown, the skin was crisp and the meat was juicy and tender. It definitely had that pull-apart rotisserie effect on it. My vegetables came out great as well.

2. Convenient juicer spout

A feature I love about the tray is the juicer spout. Pouring gravy and sauces become very easy. And because it's lightweight, I have better control when I lift and move it around.

3. Easy to clean after use

The other key aspect I like to look at is whether this cookware is easy to clean after use. I like that it has a double layer of non-stick coating, which in my opinion serves as a convenience when cleaning. All I need to do is use a bit of warm water, some suds and my trusty White Magic Eco Coconut Bristle Dish Brush to rid of the food scraps.

Although the roaster is dishwasher safe, I decided to hand wash it instead as it will help to prolong the non-stick coating for as long as possible. The roaster’s body has a 20-year guarantee, with a 5-year guarantee on the non-stick coating.

I must say, I can't find much fault in this pan just yet. Although this is the first time I've tried using it, I have a feeling my future lamb and pork roast will taste amazing. Definitely looking forward to using it again.

If you were wondering whether I have put this roaster to test, I'm glad to say that I tested it for the first time to make my Rotisserie Citrus Chicken & Vegetables with Pearl Couscous and Labne. Get the recipe here.
