Changing The Future of Reusable Coffee Cup
Now that the ice has broken with using disposable keep cups, and what I mean by that is, now that we see them around a lot and it’s no big deal to be seen carrying around eco-friendly re-useable cups, cafes are 100% used to being handed cups in various shapes and sizes to fill (you won’t even get a funny look) - the question now becomes more of how can we streamline this process, make it better, easier and totally make it the norm for almost everyone?
One of the main issues with taking our own
reusable coffee cups around everywhere is that it’s just awkward to carry around a cup all the time. Especially for men, who often do not have a bag with them. Stojo Pocket Cups have been designed to be a solution to this problem, as they are re-usable cups that collapse down after use. This is so you can easily fit it into your handbag, backpack or pocket.
It Collapses (Accordion Style!)
The Stojo Pocket Cup (available in lots of different colours) has been innovatively designed with a heat sleeve included, and its main feature is the ability to collapse/expand to different sizes, depending on your coffee preference. The insides have been printed with measurements so baristas can fill your coffee to the exact level required for each drink. The sizes range from a double espresso shot through to 355ml, which is the equivalent to a large mug of coffee.
The Stojo Biggie has been designed for those who want an extra-large drink. Expandable up to 470ml, it holds 33% more than the original Pocket Cup. This is the one that I have because I now use this as my cup for water and other drinks as well as coffee. The Biggie comes with a wide straw, which is great for water or smoothies. I love having one, easy to carry, eco-friendly option for my whole day.
With most other keep cups on the market today being fairly bulky and awkward to transport everywhere, I think the design of the Stojo Pocket Cup could be the perfect way to allow everyone to do their part in waste reduction.
