Lifefactory make high quality glass reusable water bottles and food storage containers. The company believes that glass is the safest and most responsible material for our everyday use, and they made have a range of products suitable for babies, children and adults. Many aspects of their design have been created to help fit in with our active on-the-go lifestyles.
Medical-grade silicone covers (Made in the USA since 2010) in fun and bright colours cradles the outside of the Lifefactory products, which allows for grip and greatly reduces breakage. The drinking bottle shape is clever with a slight indentation half way up which fits perfectly in your hand. The lid for the 12oz (350ml) drinking bottle will also fit the 16oz (475ml) and 22oz (650ml) bottles. Moreover, the drinking bottles are also made to double up as storage containers.
The company wants to make an active impact on reducing environmental waste with these products, which are made to last years. The incredible use of plastic has now become an environmental issue, and many people have also grown concerned about the potential impact of having so much exposure to plastics on our health. Lifefactory containers uses glass made from only natural materials and is BPA/BPS-free. It will never pick up any smells or tastes and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
Lifefactory also manufactures kids water bottles and baby bottles that are highly popular given that their medical grade silicone teats are made in France. With Stage 1 for babies 0-3 months in age , Stage 2 for babies 3-6 months and Stage 3 for 6 months and over, you can retain the same bottle while providing the right flow of milk for each phase.
I really like using my 16oz (475ml) bottle – I have taken it on the go with me every day to all my exercise and yoga classes and generally when I’m out and about with the kids. It fits perfectly into my bag and isn’t too heavy. The wide mouth makes it easy to add ice for those hot days in the sun. I also use it to make my protein shakes which I prepare in the evening for my breakfast the following morning, that way I can drink the shake on the go and then simply refill my Lifefactory bottle with water when I’ve reached my destination.
It's also nice to know that I’m doing my little part in reducing plastic wastage.
