A revelation

I haven’t cooked in cast iron since my camping days and this combo cooker is like my campfire dutch oven, only better designed. I use it for slow cooking (naturally), on the gas and in the oven, to bake bread and to roast meat. .It has all but replaced my non-stick pan. I’m a convert.

Lodge 3.2 Quart Cast Iron Combo Cooker

I love these. I wish I'd bypassed all the other pans over the years and gone straight to these. They cook beautifully, and counter-intuitively, they are so easy to maintain. The only thing I haven't done so far is use them as a dutch oven - will shortly.
