The blade is made from Shun's proprietary high-performance VG-MAX steel providing excellent edge retention and is clad with Damascus stainless steel, making the knives sharp, durable, and corrosion-resistant. The Damascus cladding also reveals the layered steel's flowing pattern, adding to the knives' beauty. The knives feature D-shaped ebony PakkaWood handles, which provide a comfortable and secure grip while working in the kitchen.
