Grilled Pork Chops using the new Lodge Blacklock Cast Iron Grill Pan
Pork chops are a family favourite dinner recipe, and you will only need a handful of basic ingredients to cook it. In this recipe, we recommend using bone-in pork chops rather than boneless as it gives you juicier results with more flavour. To grill, use the Lodge Blacklock 12 Inch Grill Pan along with red chillies for garnish.

Ingredients
For the Rub- 1 tablespoon instant espresso
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon chipotle powder
- Seasoning spray
- Red chillies for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celcius. Meanwhile, season pork chops with salt and pepper. Then combine rub mixture in a small bowl. Coat pork chops with rub on all sides. 2. Heat the grill pan over medium-high heat for at least 5 to 7 minutes. Then spray the grill pan with cooking or vegetable oil and sear chops for 4 minutes. 3. Then, add the chillies, flip the chops and place inside the oven to the desired doneness for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. 4. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
