Keep your favourite kitchen knives razor sharp with the Edge Master Combination Whetstone. The 1000/5000 grit is ideal to repair blunt knives and to eliminate the burrs. Use the medium 1000 grit first and then flip over and use the fine 5000 grit to remove the burrs. Just make sure to keep the stone's surface wet while sharpening! /

Cleaning and care Rinse with water then leave to dry in a well-ventilated area.
Do not use to sharpen serrated knives or scissors.
To avoid knife damage, sharpen it by employing light pressure. 
Use the entire surface of the stone, so as to maintain evenness during sharpening.  Avoid letting the whetstone fall or other similar impacts.
